Genshin Impact Coloring Activities for a Teyvat Travel Scroll

Build a paper Teyvat travel scroll with Traveler, Paimon, Amber, and region-inspired coloring scenes. Plan a route, color landscape clues, and display the result.

Teyvat gives a group of colorists a useful question: how can one journey look different from place to place? These Genshin Impact coloring activities use a folded paper scroll to connect characters and landscapes from the game. The child chooses a route, colors one page at each stop, and adds a small landscape clue beside it. Begin with the Genshin Impact coloring pages and select three or four scenes that differ in shape, such as Mondstadt's open hills, Liyue's harbor, and Sumeru's forest.

The AI-generated color illustrations show the craft setup; the collection holds the black-and-white line art. This is an original fan activity built from HoYoverse's published characters and regions, not an official quest or map.

An accordion fold lets each region keep its own palette while the journey reads as one connected piece.

Fold the route into region panels

Join three sheets of paper with tape on the back and fold them like an accordion. Leave a wide panel for each chosen region. At the top of every panel, write the region name in pencil; a younger child can use a small picture clue instead. Put one Genshin Impact activity sheet beside each panel. Do not glue finished artwork yet, because the group may want to rearrange the journey after seeing the colors together.

Mondstadt is a good opening. HoYoverse describes breezes, dandelions, and a city beside Cider Lake. A Traveler and Paimon page can carry the main scene, while a child adds three large dandelion circles to the scroll. Amber or Venti can lead a second Mondstadt panel if the group wants to focus on a character. Genshin Impact coloring activities feel more coherent when each panel has one focal figure and one environmental clue.

For Liyue, choose Xiangling at a harbor stall or a broader harbor page. Give the child a warm and cool pencil and ask which areas feel like stone, water, and lantern light. The color choice is theirs; the official map supplies the harbor and mountain setting, not a required palette. Inazuma can follow with Kamisato Ayaka under cherry blossoms. Instead of filling every petal, pick five shapes to color first, then decide whether the rest should remain open.

Compare two landscapes with one shared color

Sumeru has both rainforest and desert in HoYoverse's map description. Place those two pages side by side and ask for one repeated color across both. The child might use the same blue for a sky gap and a piece of pottery. That repeated color ties the scroll together while the two landscapes stay distinct. Genshin Impact coloring pages with different regions are especially useful for this comparison.

For a group, give each person one panel. Ask them to add a small “found on the road” sketch on a separate scrap: a leaf, a stone pattern, a water swirl, or a cloud. Tape the scrap below the page only after everyone has finished. The sketch should come from the child's observation or imagination; it does not need to be a collectible in the game. That small observation lets a friend who knows only the characters take part.

Fontaine's waterfall and Natlan's Saurian landscape make a strong contrast for the last two stops. One child can color water in broad flowing bands; another can use the canyon's open rock shapes and a distant Saurian silhouette. The official map also describes snowy Snezhnaya. If you include that page, make it a quiet closing panel with large white areas rather than covering every bit of snow with gray.

Mount the pages and read the route aloud

Print one Genshin Impact coloring page at A4 or US Letter size before making a full set. Examine faces, hair ornaments, thin architectural lines, and small petals. If they close up on paper, use a page with a larger focal subject or switch to colored pencils. Keep a clean margin for mounting; printer scaling can cut away an edge that a child wanted to color.

Once the sheets are done, trim only the plain paper margins if needed and tape the pages to the accordion panels. Read the route aloud from left to right. Invite each maker to explain one visual connection between stops: a repeated color, a shape that changes, or a character who appears again. The travel scroll can stand on a shelf or fold flat into a folder. This gives Genshin Impact coloring activities a finished object without asking anyone to complete all ten sheets in one sitting.

This guide uses documented characters and region descriptions. Leave any newly announced design until an official visual reference is available.

Common planning questions

Must the route follow an in-game quest order?

No. Arrange the regions to make visual sense for the group. Genshin Impact coloring pages give you recognizable places; the paper route is an original craft structure and has no gameplay effect.

How do I add one more scene?

Describe a character and one documented region in the AI coloring page tool. AI creation requires sign-in and credits; check the displayed cost before generating. Review the result for consistent character details, unwanted lettering, and small areas that will not print cleanly. Keeping the prompt focused on one scene makes the inspection easier.

Where can I find a shorter activity?

Browse the community for page ideas. MapleStory coloring activities use a three-stop passport, and Fortnite coloring activities build a wall of island cards. Either is easier to finish when the group has less time than a full scroll needs.
