Licensing Policy

Your Inputs and AI Outputs

You retain the rights you lawfully hold in your inputs and outputs. You are responsible for having every right and permission needed to upload an input, request generation, authorize LinePics, and use the result.

Rights in AI outputs can depend on applicable law and third-party rights. LinePics does not guarantee that an AI output qualifies for ownership, that it is unique, or that you receive exclusive rights. No LinePics plan or community permission grants rights to characters, brands, photographs, artwork, or other material owned by someone else.

License You Grant for the Free Public Flow

When you choose the free public flow and confirm submission, the submitted generated result is licensed to LinePics on a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free basis. LinePics may sublicense the operational license to service providers and technically process the result solely to review, host, display, distribute, and let the public download an approved result under the Community Download License.

The license does not cover your original upload, which remains private temporary generation material and is never community content. The grant is not a transfer of ownership or an assignment of your rights. Submission unlocks your download immediately and starts manual review; it does not guarantee that LinePics will publish the result.

Community Download License

An approved community result may be downloaded only for personal, family, classroom, and educational non-commercial use.

The Community Download License remains non-commercial regardless of the downloader's LinePics plan. A paid, Pro, or Commercial plan does not expand the rights in a Community download.

Community downloaders may not:

• resell the file or use it in a product, paid publication, paid course, client project, or marketing material;
• upload or redistribute the file as a competing download library or competing asset collection;
• remove notices in order to misrepresent its source; or
• claim that they are the original author, artist, or creator.

If a result is rejected, unpublished, or removed, LinePics can stop only future public or Community access to it. Rejection, unpublishing, or removal does not cancel or remove the owner's already-unlocked download. Copies already downloaded by others cannot be technically recalled or retrieved.

Official Library and Private Plan Licenses

Official LinePics library content may be used for personal, family, classroom, and educational non-commercial activities unless the applicable plan expressly grants additional rights.

Official library content and privately generated content follow the plan shown at generation, purchase, or download:

• Free public flow — owner download requires submission for review; any approved public copy uses the Community Download License above.
• Basic — private generation and clean owner export for the personal and educational uses included in that plan.
• Pro or Commercial — may use official LinePics library content and privately generated content for the commercial uses expressly listed for that plan, including physical prints, client projects, KDP or similar publishing, paid products, and paid teaching materials; these rights remain subject to third-party rights and all other restrictions.

Paid members can generate and download privately without submitting their results for community review. A plan does not expand rights beyond the benefits shown for that plan.

General Restrictions

Unless your applicable plan expressly permits it, do not sell files, publish them commercially, use them for client work, or distribute them as digital assets. Under every plan, do not resell unmodified LinePics files as standalone digital downloads, operate a competing library from them, or misrepresent authorship.
